New Delhi:UiPath has appointed Palo Alto Networksâ Anil Bhasin as managing director for its India and South Asia operations, as part of its efforts to scale its business and technology units in the region.
Bhasin, who replaces Manish Bharti at the position, will work closely with Rick Harshman, senior vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific and Japan, the robotic process automation firm said in a statement on Wednesday. Bharti will take up a new strategic role within UiPath, details of which would be available in the near future, the company said.
Bhasin will bring to UiPath more than 33 years of tech industry experience to help accelerate adoption of automation as one of the preferred platforms for digital transformation.

As vice president for India and SAARC at Palo Alto Networks, he was instrumental in building the brand in India from the ground-up and helped establish the company as one of the leaders in cybersecurity in the market, according to the statement.
