Singapore-based business-to-business sales productivity startup Nektar.ai has raised $ 2.15 million in seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners, along with participation from Insignia Venture Partners, Arka Venture Labs, Better Capital and Vietnam Investments Group.
Founded by former Capillary and Zendesk executives earlier this year, Nektar.ai has been working in stealth mode so far. The company plans to open up its platform for customers to get early access to its software sometime next year.
âAt Nektar.ai we (are) reimagining the future of modern sales and building a first of its kind AI-driven sales productivity solution that will help the Go To Market revenue teams to seamlessly collaborate and make more sales reps successful in meeting their Quota,â said Abhijeet Vijayvergiya, cofounder and CEO at Nektar.ai.
Nektar plans to utilise the capital to continue development of its platform and also grow its product and engineering teams, as it looks to get its product into the hands of a wider set of customers next year.
The company said its platform leverages unstructured data from sources like email, calendars, LinkedIn, Zoom and overlays that with an organisation’s best practices and sales playbooks, to help even average performing sales representatives perform as well as high performers.
“Nektar.ai is filling a key gap that exists in how revenue teams operate: a collaboration platform that captures and leverages the collective experience and intelligence of the Go To Market teams and helps in operationalizing the best practices and winning sales playbooks,â said Jishnu Bhattacharjee, Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners.
