The domestic equity market remained flat on Wednesday, however, shares of Indiabull Housing Finance surged 4.22 per cent followed by M&M, whose shares went up 4.10 per cent.

(up 2.77 per cent), Lupin (up 2.75 per cent), Indian Oil Corp (up 2.36 per cent), GAIL (up 2.11 per cent), PowerGrid (up 1.89 per cent), Dr Reddys Labs (up 1.71 per cent), ICICI Bank (up 1.57 per cent), Cipla (up 1.15 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (up 0.89 per cent), BPCL (up 0.53 per cent), IndusInd Bank (up 0.46 per cent), HDFC Bank (up 0.44 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 0.44 per cent), Kotak Bank (up 0.43 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 0.39 per cent), Tata Motors (up 0.38 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 0.23 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.14 per cent), ACC (up 0.12 per cent), ITC (up 0.11 per cent), Axis Bank (up 0.07 per cent), Wipro (up 0.12 per cent), TCS (up 0.18 per cent) were other top gainers in the Nifty50 index in Wednesday’s trade.
However, Vedanta (down 2.55 per cent), Infosys (down 1.92 per cent), Coal India (down 1.92 per cent), Tata Power (down 1.70 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 1.52 per cent), Zee Ent. (down 1.47 per cent), Tata Steel (down 1.40 per cent), RIL (down 1.37 per cent), Sun Pharma (down 1.26 per cent), Hindalco Inds. (down 1.21 per cent), Tata Motors (down 1.07 per cent), Aurobindo Pharm (down 1.06 per cent), ONGC (down 0.92 per cent), Bosch (down 0.85 per cent), Asian Paints (down 0.71 per cent), NTPC (down 0.65 per cent), HDFC (down 0.61 per cent), Hind. Unilever (down 0.52 per cent), Ambuja Cements (down 0.49 per cent), YES Bank (down 0.49 per cent), HCL Tech (down 0.45 per cent), Adani Ports SEZ (down 0.40 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 0.39 per cent), Bank of Baroda (down 0.25 per cent), Bajaj Auto (down 0.19 per cent) remained among top losers among the Nifty stocks.
Benchmark Nifty50 index closed 3.30 points down at 9621.25, while the 30share Sensex settled 13.60 points down at 31145.8 on May 31. In the Nifty50 pack, 22 stocks ended the day in green, while 29 stocks settled the day in red.
