NEW DELHI: HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) on Saturday reported a 9.53 per cent year-on-year (YoY) fall in profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 249.83 crore for the three months ended March 31, 2020.
In comparison, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 276.17 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s total income declined 17.90 per cent YoY to Rs 449.62 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 547.67 crore in the same period last year.
The board proposed a final dividend of Rs 28 per equity share for the financial year ended 2020.
The total asset managed by the fund house declined by 7.21 per cent to Rs 3,19,100 crore at the end of March 2020 from Rs 3,43,900 crore in the same period last year.
The average assets under management of actively managed equity funds stood at Rs 1.2 lakh crore as on March 2020 with a market share of 14.70 per cent. This excluded arbitrage and index funds.
