Market Now: Stocks that plunged over 6%

The domestic equity market was trading in the green on Monday afternoon on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks of Reliance Communication were down 18.60 per cent at Rs 21 at 1.55 pm (IST).

AksharChem Ltd (down 13.50 per cent), Crompton Greave (down 13.07 per cent), Sarla Perform (down 11.90 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 11.79 per cent), Sun Pharma (down 10.39 per cent), Jayaswal Neco (down 9.00 per cent), Nitin Fire Prot (down 8.97 per cent), Jindal Drilling (down 8.04 per cent), Reliance Infra (down 7.99 per cent), NCL Industries (down 7.85 per cent), DLF (down 7.73 per cent), Guj NRE Coke (down 7.69 per cent), Rel Capital (down 7.59 per cent), Marksans Pharma (down 7.24 per cent), NRB Bearings (down 7.15 per cent), JP Associates (down 7.11 per cent) and Eros Media (down 6.85 per cent) were among other stocks that declined over 6 per cent.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks were trading in green, while 21 stocks were in red.

On the NSE, Reliance Comm, Tech Mahindra, Zicom Elec, Sun Pharma, Northgate Com, Nitin Fire Prot, Bafna Pharma, MBL Infra, Guj NRE Coke, Sathavahana Isp, Satin Creditcare Network, Hindustan Dorr, Mandhana Inds., Videocon Ind, Shilpi Cable Tec, Prakash Steel, Karuturi Global, Chromatic India, Hanung Toys, DFM Foods hit their fresh 52week low.

Although, stocks of Savita Oil Tech, PC Jeweller, Premier Exp, Maan Aluminium, Kesar Enterpr, Visaka Ind, Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers, Sunteck Realty, Lakshmi Finance, KIOCL Ltd., Escorts, Siyaram Silk, Kamdhenu Ispat, Swelect Energy, Navneet Edu, Arihant Superst, Finolex Inds, Time Techno., V2 Retail Ltd and HDFC touched their fresh 52week high today.
